Since opening our doors, the FolkCOLOMBIA Escuela has been committed to helping students learn about the people and cultures of Colombia.

The FolkColombia Music and Dance School provides a unique and highly personalized method of learning, creating an environment that nurtures, educates, and encourages everyone to achieve their personal creativity and success.

 

Our mission is to provide educational programs of traditional and contemporary Colombian music and dance, as well as other expressive forms, for the Colombian and Latin@ communities of New York City and the region.

 

Your donations enable FolkCOLOMBIA Escuela to continue bringing the best teaching artists and partner organizations, such as Musiquita and the Karla Florez School of Dance, to work with the community, encouraging family participation.
